If you haven't noticed, Pietro and I weren't around Xmas and NYE.

While he went home to his family, I skipped town to Taipei for a dose of the cold weather.

Here's what I did on my first night:

Raohe St. Night Market! Made sure I took a pic of the entrance so I wouldn't forget the name. Just one of the many many night markets open till the wee hours of the morning.

Ahh my favorite! Went straight for Taiwanese sausages - right off the plane too! I can still taste them!

Wasn't brave enough to try these assorted, probably fermented, coagulated stuff but they sure make a nice pic!

Ahh... dessert. Caramelised everything. From prunes to tomatoes (?) to strawberries - yum yum.

A beautiful temple standing between a bunch of modern buildings. What a sight.
